Tara received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Black Hills State University. She then obtained a Master’s of Science in Counseling from South Dakota
State University. Tara has experience working with children, adolescents and families, as well as facilitating therapy groups. Tara effectively engages
in the process of positive change while working with her therapy clients and, additionally, provides play therapy (when applicable) using techniques
from Solution-Focused Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy as well as Mindfulness.
Tara’s past work experience includes community behavioral health, prior to private practice. In her spare time, Tara enjoys volunteer work involving therapy services for children and the elderly.
