Rhonda Schieffer is a Clinical Social Worker who obtained her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2001. She has 18+-years of experience treating individuals with a variety of mental health concerns. She specializes in treating depression, anxiety, grief and loss, abuse-related trauma and personality disorders. Additionally, she enjoys working with couples by helping them identify and utilize the tools necessary to navigate through relationship difficulties.
Rhonda’s experience as a mental health clinician includes extensive work in the Community Behavioral Health field in South Dakota and Wyoming. In addition to treating adults, Rhonda also treated adolescents with substance abuse and legal difficulties, while collaborating closely with families, schools and the judicial system. While practicing in Wyoming, she developed and lead a mental health skills-development group for individuals struggling with mental health issues and intellectual disabilities. Rhonda also facilitated grief/loss groups for families seeking assistance in their journey to cope with their loss.
Rhonda and her husband moved to the Northern Hills in January of 2019. She has two children and one grandchild. She and her husband enjoy hiking, motorcycle riding, and traveling to spend time with family and friends.
